What Is Prenuvo

A Single Scan, A Fuller Picture

Prenuvo's Whole Body MRI is a comprehensive scan that screens across major organ systems in one session, using no radiation and no contrast dye. The entire scan takes under an hour.

Every scan is reviewed by a board-certified radiologist, and your results are shared with you and your Top Tier provider, who will walk you through what was found and what, if anything, warrants a next step.

Top Tier has partnered directly with Prenuvo to make this screening more accessible to our patients, at a meaningfully reduced rate compared to booking directly.

What This Scan Covers

Head to Ankle, In a Single Session

This is a true whole body scan, not a scan of one organ or region. Here's what's imaged, and what it may help identify.

Brain & Neck

Brain tissue and neck structures, including the thyroid.

Spine

Full spine, from cervical through lumbar levels.

Chest

Chest structures and tissue, as an adjunct to, not a replacement for, dedicated lung or breast imaging.

Abdomen

Liver, gallbladder and biliary tree, pancreas, spleen, adrenal glands, and kidneys.

Pelvis

Bladder and pelvic organs, including prostate or reproductive organs as applicable.

Extremities & Joints

Major joints and soft tissue throughout the extremities.

What it may help identify:

Certain solid tumors, often at an early stage
Aneurysms and other vascular findings
Spinal degeneration and disc changes
Joint and musculoskeletal abnormalities
Liver, kidney, and other organ abnormalities
Cysts and other structural changes

Good to know

This scan is an adjunct to, not a replacement for, established screenings like mammograms, colonoscopies, Pap smears, or low-dose CT for high-risk lung screening. It may not detect very small lesions (generally under about 1cm) or cancers in the lining tissue of the mouth, throat, or GI tract. Your provider will help you understand how this fits alongside your other recommended screenings.

Why Patients Choose It

A Proactive Step, Not a Diagnosis

Frequently Asked Questions

Full Body MRI, Explained

What is a Full Body MRI screening?

It's a single, comprehensive MRI scan, provided through our partnership with Prenuvo, that screens across major organ systems in one session, without radiation or contrast dye.

How is this different from a diagnostic MRI ordered by a doctor?

A diagnostic MRI is typically ordered to investigate a specific symptom or concern. This is a broader, proactive screening scan intended for patients without a specific complaint, designed to give a wider baseline view of your health.

Does insurance cover this scan?

This is an elective, self-pay screening scan and is not typically billed to insurance. The $2,099 Top Tier patient rate reflects the full cost of the scan.

What happens if something is found on my scan?

Your Top Tier provider will review your full report with you and coordinate any recommended next steps, including a referral to the appropriate specialist if needed.

How often should I get a Full Body MRI?

Recommended frequency depends on your age, family history, and personal risk factors. Your provider can help you decide what timeline makes sense for you.

Is there any prep required before my scan?

No special preparation is required. You'll be asked to remove metal items and change into provided clothing before the scan.

Does a Full Body MRI replace my regular checkups or screenings?

No. It's a valuable additional tool, but it complements, rather than replaces, your primary care visits and standard age-appropriate screenings.

Full Body MRI screening is provided through Top Tier Precision Health's partnership with Prenuvo. This is an elective screening scan intended to identify findings that may warrant further evaluation; it is not a diagnostic test and does not replace standard, age-appropriate screening guidelines or care from your primary provider. Whole-body MRI screening in patients without symptoms is not universally recommended by all major medical and radiology organizations, and results can include findings of uncertain significance that may lead to additional testing. Individual results vary, and no specific outcome is guaranteed. Pricing reflects the current Top Tier patient rate and is subject to change.
